These work as intended to hold my shotgun mics, now the plastic is very hard and has no shock protection, but as long as it’s always in a static place and never bumped that’s not a problem.

I've had this little microphone for nearly decade and the poor thing took a fall with this camera so I ordered these new mounts. The only comments I have are: it's a tight fit, you'll have to apply some pressure for it to snap into place. Also, you're losing shock absorbing capabilities, this is a hard mount - it shouldn't be an issue unless you're a heavy stepper and you're running for some reason. The product was good and worked as it should when mounting to Tri pod but do be careful! I had set up my camera and Tri pod then knocked it over walking buy and it broke the red plastic tab. The plastic is kinda brittle.
