I bought this to replace my broken mic, works great. It's an exact fit/replacement for any Astro a40 or a50 headset.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a replacement microphone and bought one from this vendor because Logitech bought Astros and now all their products are overpriced garbage but this mic is as good as the OEM microphones. The video is showing the deteriorated material after 3 years of constant plugging and unplugging / daily use. plugged it in and didnt work. compared it to my oem plug and noticed the jack was slightly shorter, and was slightly different in structure. i know the mics the issue as my old mic still works (but not great anymore) but i get nothin from the new one.

Had my original a40 mic for 5 years, so the wire no longer stayed in the position I curved it to making it sit further from my mouth. I thought my mic quality had gone down over the years due to the casual wear and tear, but my friends say it sounds exactly the same. It works if you need a new mic, I just think it's overpriced. Then again, what isn't these days.
