Decided to replace the Xfinity rented modem with one of our own. I read a lot of reviews and this is the one that I decided on. It literally took 3 minutes for the Xfinity Rep. to enable the modem. You simply unplug the Xfinity modem, remove the cable and (if you have a seperate wifi router) you unplug the ethernet cable and that is that.
