I had no idea that so many things around my house were casually un-leveled until I got one of these baby's. It took a will to learn how to use it because I kept putting it on things upside down but once I got through the learning curve, I was able to shim most anything level.

This is a solid, well-made level. The markings are easy to read and the high contrast background makes it easy to see the bubble. Unfortunately, on the first unit I received the bubble is 1/8 degree off center. That might be good enough for leveling an RV, but I'm using it to level a telescope mount, so I need one that's accurately centered. I wanted an affordable level that can conveniently check levelness in two axis and was pleasantly surprised when I received this level. The black casing appears to be machined from aluminum, the markings are uniform and easy to read. Overall the piece seems solid and accurate. Updated my review to include the product's weight: 77.5 grams
