The Swiffer Power Mop has power due to the pads, not the mop. It's the pads with their enhanced texture and width that gives mopping more power per swipe that the Swiffer Wet Jet. Mopping my kitchen floor was so much quicker and only required one pass to trap the dirt instead of the Wet Jet requiring three or four passes with its flat pads. Love these! They're definitely more expensive than regular mopping, but so much more convenient. They scrub tough spots well and I like that I can use as much or as little of the cleaning solution as I need. I find that I can do about 800-1000 square feet before the pad is too saturated or dirty to feel like it is still cleaning. Great for apartments or for quick mopping of main floor areas.
