They are well made and get the job done. They fit well and provide protection but still hold items firmly in place. Just wish there was another magnet or they were a little bit stronger but that’s being picky.

My Yost vise is a great all-around bench vise, but the teeth on it easily mar metal, let alone a wood project I don't want to get all scratched up. These soft jaws allow me to use my bench vise on woodworking projects until I get a dedicated woodworking vise on my workbench. The cutouts in these are useful too - I needed to drill a 45º hole into the corner of a piece recently and the grooves in these jaws made it easier. Works as advertised, no complaints. I use to hold chain saws in the vise, mostly, but works to avoid marring the clamped material, like wood or plastic, or the steel of a chainsaw bar. And, does not move in the vise, the magnets work for me on the work I do.
