The jig works perfectly for sharpening all of my turning tools. Very quick to set up a chisel in the jig and give it a few passes across the wheel. The instructions were easy enough to follow for installation/assembly. The manufacturer has some helpful setup videos online as well.Everything was packaged securely. Where has this been all my life? What a wonderful tool for sharpening all sorts of chisels. It’s a nicely made and well thought out tool, yet simple enough even I could do it. The day I got it, I sharpened over two dozen of my carving and turning tools in Just a couple of hours (I was so impressed with this, I started rummaging around looking for other stuff to sharpen with it).Thank you Kiwis’ for being so clever!

I got it set up and sharpened a half dozen lathe tools and it did a pretty good job I think. I haven’t used the tools yet but will be soon. The price was a little high .

It's very important to take the time getting the tool perfectly parallel to your grinding wheel. If you don't you will grind more off one side than the other on rounded tools. Only complaint is the tool is not wide enough to fit a 1 1/2 inch bowl gouge. Not sure if this company makes a larger size. Hope they do.

Not only is this a fantastic system by itself, it also integrates into my Wolverine system. I have the Wolverine bases, and still use the Wolverine adjustable plate tool rest for many of my tools. But for the ones that require the rotating guide, I just cut the Wolverine cradle off and drilled a hole to tap in the rest for the True-Grind.
