The remote was easy to pair, it came with great instructions enclosed and had no issues connecting to the fire stick. The initial setup was easy. However, about a week maybe week and a half later it unpaired and we were unsuccessful at pairing it back to the fire stick. It is sturdy and worked great. For the price it was good. This works great for my insignia fire TV. It worked straight out of the box and all functions perform well including voice. I ordered a different one on Amazon (returned) and it did not work with my insignia TV but this one does. I would say it behaves exactly like the original, which unfortunately I put through the wash with my sheets.Doh!!!

Set up was painless. Instantly controlled Insignia Fire TV. I went in to menu to verify that Alexa microphone works. Remote feels a little creaky but functions perfectly. We'll worth the money
