These are replacing some 100 watt rms soundstream bullet cone mid drivers.....I was happy with them but I rolled the suv that they were in and it broke one of the pair....I didn't realize it when I pulled the it out of the door( must've broke one of the speaker's leads to the voice coil and caused an open.......anyhoo...I went to install it into my 74 c10 stepside and it didn't work...so I ordered 2 of the ds18 mid drivers (only 1 per order) at 27.90 each....they work well in the frequency ra...

These speakers are wonderful. The installation was simple and the change in the sound is immediately noticeable: deep bass, clear voices and a volume that fills the whole cart without distorting. The quality of the materials feels solid and the design is modern. They completely improved my experience when listening to music on trips. Excellent value for money, totally recommended.

Great quality for the price, keep in mind these are 8 ohms. Majority of car audio is 2 ohm or 4 ohm. You can use them with a 4 ohm amp but the power will be quite a bit less (ex. A 600w 4 ohm amp will really only send about 300w of power to these) so do your research first. I had an old 8 ohm home surround sound reciever laying around so I used that to power these and it sounds amazing. As for car applications these would not be my first choice.Did not come with terminals to connect to speake...

The sound is amazing, rocking these ln my oem stereo, im thinking in get a pair for the front doors too, the installation was super easy, and the size was perfect on my car (scion tc2 on the rears speakers), amazing product!

I used these speakers in an alternative way. I set up by bedroom studio, with an avr and my regular speakers. Then when I'm doing my audio production stuff I throw on my second amp (gemini xga 3000) and it adds midrange depth in my small room. I got them EQed just right and they really just add to the sound field . Really brings the thump out of my hip hop collection as well. And I will add this. Not alot of amps are properly rated RMS and actual wattage , and the same goes for speakers. Beca...
