I would definitely suggest you buy this. I did not realize that it comes in crome, so I am exchanging for that color. But it works perfectly in my bathroom. I did not want to put screws into my tile, but I wanted to hang by robe, and my son's robe in the bathroom. It's perfect for towels or even to use in the kitchen. It can be used in the shower, on glass, tile ... its just so easy to use and stays on the wall.

Pros: The gold color of these is really nice. These blend really well with my fixtures that are a champagne bronze color.Cons: Why is there glue on the base to attach? I thought these were suction only. I'm worried what the longer term implications will be. Also, the black base was something I was worried about (aesthetically) and it got worse after installing because you have to twist the gold part, which exposes even more of the black. Just looks odd. Will I forget about it over time? Yes. ...
