I have purchased at least 5 different kinds/brands of silver bobby pins. I have long, coarse grey hair. These are the only ones i have repurchased. STRONG hold, pretty shine. It can take some abuse with bending to the side without breaking, and it doesn’t stretch out, ever. I wish they were matte, but matte just means a weird coating that pulls at hair. Worth the money because they last forever.

LOVE these extra length pins, great on gray hair. (also handy as paper clips and various other applications). Smooth finish, no snagging. The most recent purchase seems to be a bit flimsier than earlier shipments; they get a bit twisted. Not a deal breaker, but earlier purchases did not do that.
