I checked into heated toilet seats after the blizzard of 2014 on Cape Cod. No electricity for 20 hours. It was warmer in the 'fridge then the house...I am NOT kidding. I DETEST cold toilet seats!! I was a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of these having read some of the reviews BUT I am More than Warmly Pleased! The colors are pleasant, the soft knit, though thin, is plenty warm for a chilly seat. I washed them by hand (I didn't need to remove the wire) before using, had no trouble installing them, though they are a tight fit (I have elongated seats.). The photographed and written instructions are most helpful. They did require about a day to air-dry. ...
