Giving this a four-star simply because my first one broke after about a year of use. Now it broke because I dropped my cam on the floor so it's entirely my fault. However, it didn't fall very high or hard and I would think something like this should be able to withstand a small bump.I think if they designed it slightly differently it could be far more sturdy and reliable.In any case, highly recommend if this fits your camera, it's great, just be careful with it

Being too cheap to buy the C920 with the pre-installed privacy cover, I figured I'd just use paper, a tissue, or a decorated toilet paper tube as a quick cover. Turns out that months of this homemade nonsense was so annoying and unreliable that I came here to buy one.
