Wanted a no hassle, grab and go watch for everyday and outdoor use. I purchased an “open-box” to save almost $100 and didn’t mind any imperfections. It was/came like new! Always wanted a good Seiko alarm watch since I was a kid, but note the alarm is soft and only rings for 20sec or so. More for alerting vs waking up. The dial is very busy with 3 sub-dials and has a lot of flash making it hard to see the time at certain angles. Date window is small and dark colored for my eyesight, but normal...

I like the weight, heavy and robust. Keeps time well, as expected, appears it was only 2-3 seconds slow after 4 weeks. The band is shiny black and silver chrome which appeals to my eye. The alarm may be useful as a reminder time but I have to strain to hear it as it is almost the same pitch as my tinnitus. Luminous hands but only for a few minutes.
