Great sound and fine industrial finish is what i feel at first to the FiiO M23 DAP. Compared to the M11, the M23 has more refined sound quality. Most obviously is more smooth, sparkling image and quieter background, not as dry or forward sounding like the old M11. I enjoyed the look and feel of the M23. Compared to my Shanling M9 the M23 tend to sound cleaner and not as warm. The Shanling do have a bit better bass quality, but the FiiO M23 can match by adjusting equalizer. Price is great when...

This a very good sounding DMP. Super smooth sounding with great details. Lots and lots of power. If I had any wish it would be that the update to the a newer version of Android would be good and this thing is quite heavy! I am perfectly willing to make that trade off though for how good this thing sounds!

It had an issue with the battery. It began to turn itself off and on at random. I returned it within 2 weeks it has been more than a month and they just will not give me a refund. It was a third party seller I guess I don't even know how this could have happened. Overall I liked this product I had to buy it somewhere else however I still haven't gotten my money back for the original productI would not recommend you by this on Amazon
