I've tried a couple lap desks but this is hands down my favorite when I'm in my living room. I always sit cross legged and this allows me to set the tablet perfectly on one leg and the arm of my chair. It adjusts to a variety of angles, giving you the perfect angle for homework or drawing. When not it use it folds flat and fits inside my ottoman.

For me personally, this is just about perfect. What I really like about it compared to other stands is that the bottom is both flat and smooth so when resting it on your lap to draw (such as while sitting on the couch), it is a comfortable and stable. This works perfectly for me but I cannot give it a full 5 stars. Here’s some pros and consPros: it’s sturdy. It’s comfortable and it fits my iPad Pro 12.9 M2 amazingly. Has grips under to prevent slide for the entire holder and has grips inside to prevent the ipad from sliding.
