This is a very nice and sturdy cutting board. It is also much bigger and thicker than what I expected. I have it packaged to go to a summer home and it will come in handy for cutting veggies. I like the tray option; will work good to just use a knfe and push everything into the tray and distribute wherever I want. I have other John Boos items and everything is made with quality in mind.

This cutting board is awesome, very detailed in its construction. Its reversible and the groove along the outside on the one side is shallower towards the back and deeper and thicker towards the au jus dish so the juices flow to the pan rather than just sit in the groove. It is a very thick cutting board and bigger than I expected which can make washing it a bit of a pain because it doesn't fit well in the sink (we have a standard side by side kitchen sink).Overall, this is the best cutting b...

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very, very, disappointed called Boo's and spoke with Jody from customer service, told her the outer box was undamaged, but the cutting board was completely severed, I had returned a board less than a week ago I proceeded to tell her! She instructed me to return with Amazon, as I am doing now. I am very disappointed as I stated, I was here when Fed X delivered so I can guaranty nothing was done in the delivery process. Tha...

Like every other Boos Block this thing is very well made. It is properly glued and dried, and when wiped and oiled when it starts to look dry, it will provide a very long service life. The deep groove and juice tray works pretty well for containing a mess when carving a roast.
