Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wow!!! The craftsmanship of this chess set is impeccable. Beautiful precision cut felts on bottom. Husband just retired and looking for hobby for winter time. (He played years ago with a friend but never owned a chess set.). We first saw same brand/seller of a smaller set little less $ but because we wanted larger but we clicked on brand to see what else there was from same seller and we got this bigger size. I got this Chess set for my grandson. It is very nice and put together very well. The pieces are sturdy and have some weight to them. The pieces are large enough to be moved easily without tipping over. The plastic molding to hold the pieces are a little flimsy other than that I am very satisfied with this chess set.

Very nice board and pieces. This ambassador chess set is large with large pieces also, the craftmanship is excellent. I can see a lot of thought went into this. This my largest set yet, and love the size of the pieces. I took pictures of the kings next to a water bottle as a reference for the size.
