When it's pool closing time you always need these winterizing plugs. I use them on my pools return lines after i blow them out - the o rings make a perfect water tight seal. After I install these I pour some marine anti free in the line for just a little added protection. I found these plugs to be of high quality with a perfect fit. Needed a replacement plug to winterize our 27’above ground pool. I wasn’t sure if this was the right size because it seems smaller than the one that broke, but thankfully it is the right size. It fits good and seems to be durable. It was very inexpensive and even came with 2. So now we have a back up just in case.

I used it for my above ground filter discharge where usually we use the pressure mounted rubber stopper which without fail does not stay in position through the winter months, this works perfectly for that purpose, strongly recommended
