The wireless meatstick is amazing to begin with but this truly takes your long smoking to the next level. If you are like me, you love smoking huge briskets and pork butts. You know these can 12, 16 or more hours! and you don't want to have to be within range or have to essentially sit by your grill that entire time. The WiFi Bridge works great. I left my roast in the oven and could monitor the internal temp as I ran errands.

I am not sure how you can have a Meatstick without the bridge. It should be mandatory. No more getting warnings that your phone isn't in range.BTW - All smokers and ovens are surrounded by metal.I am only giving it 4 stars because the cord that comes with it is only 2 feet long and it doesn't come with a power supply, I had to use one I found in the drawer.Please sell a complete unit.It will get some great use though, now that our winter is over.I can't wait to use this "system" on our turkey...

First it’s cheap light plastic. It’s like something you get from a Cracker Jack box. Doesn’t work even if you stand right next to the probe. They tell you, you have to have it no more than 6 feet away from the probe, and yet your grill is outside in the direct sun even when I tried covering it, it did not see the probe. I don’t know how we went two or three years without this. Being able to move around the house or yard (or even make a quick run to the store) while still keeping track of what you’re cooking has been a game changer.On top of that, MeatStick support has been, really great. They always respond within one day and they really stand behind their products. A+
