Controls nearly perfect when used correctly. I think the negative reviews regarding control may be due to not understanding thermal inertia of the controlled item, see discussion below and attached plots. I tested it under a full 250watt load with no issues. Logging function is awesome, though the ap graphics are so lightly colored they are hard to read. Trends are easily downloaded as CSV for use in MS Excel if you want. Instructions for operation are for crap, but fortunately it is not that...

Works great so far, and can be integrated with Home Assistant via Tuya Local (regular Tuya app works fine on its own, but the Tuya integration for Home Assistant doesn't handle it well - Tuya Local works perfectly though)

I use this product to control temps of my ball python racks. For the price the complaints are minor in comparison to more expensive units. I will say it is easier to setup the product using the app as compared to pressing the buttons on the front. Just scan the QR code in the directions. I have complete control of both devices anywhere I am at with the use of my smart phone. I've had this for 11 months now with no issues. 2 weeks ago the CH1 started saying temp too low please check. I replaced the heat lamp and bulb to only have the same issue. I plugged the brand new heat set up on the other side and it reads temp to high. So I reset this inkbird thermostat, recalibrated it and same thing so that tells me the thermostat is bad. I contacted inkbird since these come with a 1 year warranty and instead of them replacing the thermostat they keep giving me the run aro...
