Mostly wasted money. I bought them to cut through my name and address on different types of mail. They will cut through one or two pieces of paper but the paper gets stuck inside the blades and prevents them from cutting after one or two chops. They do not cut through the bubble wrap used in mailing envelopes. They do not cut through an envelope of junk mail.
