I bought these primarily to get my hearing aid batteries out of the little plastic pods the put them in now. They cut the pods sell and make the batteries easy to release. The angles cutting blade is a good feature. I have found them excellent for other jobs beyond the cutting strength of regular scissors. I find them handy to have around.

Spend the extra bit to get these over the smaller ones. Decent size and grip, works well with gloves too.
