These quick release plates when used with the Ulanzi, PGYtech, or Peak Design quick release mounts are fantastic. Quick secure attach, quick release, from your tripod or other mounting device. These also work with all Swiss Arca mounts. I have these mounted on all of my cameras and long lenses.

This quick-release plate is small and is built well. It comes with the plate and a tool to screw the plate into your desired accessory. While most types of units nowadays have a 'D' ring or similar, this one requires the allen wrench type tool to tighten and loosen the plate from whatever your attaching it to. I wanted a small, Arca Swiss compatible quick release plate for my small, magsafe style iPhone mount and this Ulanzi UKA02 is perfect. I don't have their UKA03 quick release base, but this plate works perfectly with my Arca Swiss style quick release mount, that is mounted on a small table top tripod. I got this plate to use with my ARCA heads. Though the description states that it will fit, I found it to be very small on multiple heads that I tried it on. I have one head that has a easy screw adjustment to tighten the plate and I was able to successfully use it with that one, but i would need to readjust to use with any of my other plates.For the other heads with the clamp closed it simply fell out.Construction appears to be all metal except for the rubberized protection pads. This is a basic plate that works with a couple of different base systems I currently own. The plate fits in my Ulanzi TH02 quick release plate and also works with FALCAM F38 Quick Release Backpack Clip Mount I own. It also works with all the Arca-Swiss bases I have on my tripods.
