I bought this to check the CVT oil in a 2011 Jeep Patriot. It works great. The 'dipstick' is much longer than what is needed because it is universal and unlike traditional dipsticks this one is intended to bottom out in the oil pan. You are actually measuring the fluid height directly with this tool (bottom of the pan to the level of the fluid). The included reference charts only work correctly with all stock / OEM transmission oil pans.

Works great once I figured out how to use it. It does drag on the ground when I drive though. Just kidding. You're not supposed to leave it in after you check your fluid.

Thank goodness found a transmission dipstick at a reasonable price to check my own fluid. FYI if you get one know that it does not go all the way down to the handle, if you look on the dipstick there is a stopping point, reason I bring this to attention because someone wanted to try it out first and said it was not correct dipstick because it didn't go all the way in,. That is because it doesn't so wanted to let anyone gets one not to think it's incorrect dipstick.😁
