This Wound Care Kit is a great addition to my medicine cabinet. I've been restocking it over the past couple of weeks and found these dressings work pretty well. I haven't had any significant burns, but I did accidentally have a hot pan's handle rest on my forearm for too long, causing more pain than problems. The wound kit did a good job covering the burn from further irritation and relieving some of the sting of my stupidity. The $18 price tag for 20 dressings is just a bit higher than expe...

This package includes two different types of dressings to cover the wound. It helps protect and heal the wound. Due to the small size, these are not intended for large wounds. I also don't think it would be a good idea to use two of these together for larger coverage. They apply easily, absorb fairly well, and are pretty easy to remove when changing the bandage.

There are 2 types of dressings in the box, Silver Alignate for high exudate wounds like burns with blisters, and Manuka honey for low exudate wounds like bruises or chemical burns. They are made of good quality components, I would say these are similar to the ones medical professionals use, they stick pretty well to (previously cleaned) skin, and these dressings can cover a pretty big area.
