I bought this for my nephew who loves to cook/bake, for his birthday. I know he is going to love this present as they do not have a waffle maker in the house. I’m sold! This waffle maker makes the best waffles AND they’re cute! I wasn’t a fan of waffles until now, since I get them crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. I originally got it for the seasonal plates to make cute designs for holiday/seasonal breakfasts, but started cooking extra to toss them in the freezer for anytime waffles. The plates are super easy to put in and put out I have a standard one without removable plates I didn't know how much I would enjoy the pancake plate option and how many other things I was able to make it stays on my counter!

I really didn't expect this tiny appliance to make decent waffles, but it does! I used a favorite recipe from another waffle maker I own and they came out perfect taking only about two and a half minutes each to cook. Unfortunately I did pour in a bit too much batter a couple times and it ran over the sides onto the counter. It was a pain to clean all the little crevices of the Dash, but I'm hoping that was just the learning curve and I'll do better next time I use it. I also used the skillet...
