I got these because I'm currently doing a lot of driving in canyons during the winter. It is sad that this has to be stated but these are not meant to stay on your car all the time. They are meant for emergencies only preferably accompanied with snow tires. They're great but are only good for 2-3 uses because well, they're plastic. But again, this is worth the price. I read the other reviews after i got back from a skiing weekend where I had to use these. We drove up when there was quite some fresh snow. These chains were fairly easy to put on and attached. But pretty much immediately they broke and fell off. Thankfully they didn't rip a brake hose as they scratched up the wheelhouse and flew all over the place.The rubber/plastic could not hold the force of the straps so they ripped.I bough 12 and more than half of then where broke when I had gotten out o...

We traveled to Vermont for a ski trip and we were very anxious about snow on the road. These chains were easy to install. Great quality and worked great on our tires. Very easy to use to help give peace of mind when traveling.
