My neighbor had an old Igloo cooler in his back yard. It was filthy covered with dirt and other things. The latch and the hinges were all broken. He finally went to clean up his yard and threw the cooler in the back of his truck with the other trash. I asked him if I could have the cooler. He wanted to know what for. Had a friend accidentally break the latch off my cooler. This was a perfect replacement. Easy installation.

Our hulk of a 2 year old managed to somehow rip off the original clasp on our Igloo. Luckily we found this Igloo brand replacement and it works well. I noticed that it sits slightly differently although it looks exactly like the original. May have to re-drill a hole a little lower for the screws.
