I had previously purchased the Sennheiser replacements for my PXC 450, but those were too expensive and got damaged too soon (the skin unstitched easily, exposing the foam inside). I was hesitant to try these non-original replacements, but decided because I did not want to throw my money to the garbage again by buying another pair of the Sennheiser ones. Make sure to completely remove the various rings left when you remove your old ear pads. The pads are likely degraded and will not come off in one piece. The PXC 450 standard ear pads actually have three rings, one clear and two black. The clear one will likely come off very easily. Then next one is black, or very dark gray, and it will need to be pried out from the tabs that secure ear pads to the headphones. Ok, not the most comfortable change, but brought new life to my otherwise unusable headset. I also realized my headset wasn't all the good to begin with, LOL. Still, I'm glad I am able to use my old headset around the house now.
